The Dairy Farm Produced More Than Milk
Late in October, as the leaves were in their amber and crimson prime, I made my way deep into the heart of Maine. I would soon set foot on the Cold Brook Farm. Congress Opens Up IRAs for Charitable Giving

Congress extended the opportunity for individuals over 70 1/2 years of age to make tax-free transfers to qualified charities from Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs) during 2009. Not all charities are qualified under the law to receive IRA transfer dollars -- but local churches do qualify. Action must be taken by the donors prior to December 21st to be sure that IRA charitable transfers will be completed before year-end. For more information, contact us at 866-273-2549 or by email.
